Caperdoni Retrofit Kit
The Caperdoni machine retrofit project developed by Baiff was born from a specific need of Missoni, a brand that represents the excellence of Italian textile manufacturing. The company was looking for a solution to renew and enhance its Caperdoni machines, preserving their original mechanical reliability while upgrading them to Industry 4.0 standards.
From this collaboration came the Baiff retrofit kit for Caperdoni machines, designed to completely modernize the electronics and control systems, improving performance in terms of efficiency, precision, and safety.
At the heart of the system is a new management motherboard, capable of coordinating every movement and process of the machine with extreme accuracy. The kit also includes next-generation electronic components and three inverters with integrated safety systems, ensuring maximum production continuity.
The upgrade includes a 10.2” touch-screen HMI interface, dedicated software for command and design management, and direct connection to company databases via SQL, allowing full integration with management systems.
Fully supplied with wiring, installation, remote assistance, and CE certification, the kit guarantees operational reliability and compliance with current regulations.
Thanks to the Baiff retrofit, Missoni’s Caperdoni machines have retained their renowned robustness while gaining flexibility, connectivity, and precision in line with the modern requirements of Industry 4.0.
